Nelson Mandela Bay thrilled to Welcome Red Dragons

Nelson Mandela Bay (NMB) was thrilled to welcome the Red Dragons from Wales on Monday, 9 June 2014 ahead of their on field clash against EP King. This is set to be a fierce challenge as the EP Kings play against the Welsh Rugby team at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on the 10 June 2014.

“We will cheer and support our home team, EP Kings on field; this however does not prevent us from sharing a warm welcome to the Welsh visitors. Although a short trip we hope that they experience the friendliness of our destination and become aware of the cities offerings which they can share on their return home.” Says Ms Mandlakazi Skefile CEO of Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism

According to Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism (NMBT) partnerships with SARU and Nelson Mandela Bay stadium are prime examples of working together in order to host spectacular events. The upcoming rugby schedule will showcase the destination’s growth and ability in hosting great events and this increases the likelihood of investment and tourism into the city.

Kick-off is set at 19h00 for the game EP Kings vs. Wales on the 10 June 2014. Tickets range between R50-R110 and are available from the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium as well as from Computicket.
